ST DENNIS 1 - PENRYN ATHLETIC 2
Penryn kept in touch with leaders Newquay thanks to this narrow victory at Boscawen Park but they were made to fight tooth and nail by the West Division new boys. The visitors took a first minute lead whenb Greb Hobbs profited by good work from Kayne Trevaskis and Liam Streat to fire into the top right-hand corner of the home goal from 12 yards.
Penryn dominated the opening 20 minutes before the Saints began to come back into the game with Ryan Hayhurst going cloest to gaining an equaliser. With the wind at their backs the home side equalised nine minutes after the break as Carl Rickard cut inside from the left to hit a tremendous drive into the top corner of Jason Peters' net from 18 yards.
Penryn's winner came on
the hour as Trevaskis' pass caught up in the wind allowing Rob Wearne to latch
on to it and send in a cross for Dan Richardson to score Penryn's winner.
