PENRYN ATHLETIC 10 - MOUSEHOLE 3

The home side raced into a seven goal half-time lead in a one-sided match against Mousehole at Kernick Road on Saturday. Teenager, Cody Cooke had a quick fire hat-trick as he netted in the first, ninth and thirty-fifth minutes of the match. Hal Davis also got two in the first half as he scored from the penalty spot and a well placed header, while the influential player-manager, Dale Band was on target with a well worked fourth and seventh goal.

Mousehole kept going after the break despite Dan Richardson claiming the eight goal just a few minutes in. Will Elstone hit a goal back for Mousehole before Band tapped in Penryn's ninth of the match. Mike Grose and Perryn Reynolds got further goals back for Mousehole, but Steve Brewer completed a miserable afternoon for the visitors when he got the home side into double figures late on in the game.
