This game was played in appalling weather conditions and a poorly prepared pitch and this showed in the lack of football played during the game. The home side took the lead in the 20th minute when Jason Barber sent Lee Dark down the wing and his cross from the by-line found Paul Robertson who scored at the second attempt after keeper, Andy Buther had blocked the initial shot.

The second half saw Penryn have more possession but despite attempts by both side the equaliser didn't come until the 70th minute when Dean Harris' corner was firmly headed home by Captain, Pete Davey.
