PENRYN ATHLETIC 1 - GOONHAVERN 1

For the first half neither side posed a threat in front of goal but Goonhavern were beginning to show signs that they could gain an advantage with young defender, Sam Eglinton having to clear twice off the line. Paul Robinson forced a fine save from keeper, Andy Buther and he had to save from Dan Thomas just minutes later.

Early in the second half Steve Warr came on to replace Alex Bailey and Adam Trudgian moved up front with Drummond. The first goal came in the 70th minute when Dean Harris launched the ball into the box where Chris Davey flicked it on for Drummond to head into the far corner of the net. However, almost on the stroke of full-time Goonhavern hit back with an equaliser when Andy Miles whipped in a corner and Robinson nipped in at the near post to score with a diving header. Dale Band had an opportunity to put the home side ahead in the dying seconds of the game but his delayed shot was blocked by Miles.
