GODOLPHIN 0 - PENRYN ATHLETIC 4

Penryn achieved their aim of finishing in fourth place after this comfortable vicotry over a strangely lethargic Godolphin side. The visitors took the lead in the 12th minute when good work on the left by Pat Shaughnessy saw Greg Hobbs slot home. It was Hobbs who was on target 13 minutes later when another cross from Shaughnessy gave him the opportunity to volley home from seven yards.

The visitors added a third goal on the hour when Dale Band released Shaughnessy down the right hand side of the are to square the ball into the path of Hobbs who gratefullly tapped home for his hat-trick. Ten minutes later Darren Edwards played a great ball inside the path of Godolphin's left-back for Dave Blizzard to send in a shot that the keeper parried but he was able to follow up and net the rebound.
