A poor performance from the home side saw the visitors able to bully themselves into a victory.

The visitors began well and took the lead in the fifth minute when Pete Davey failed to clear the ball as Martyn Hake regained possession and beat Andy Butcher with a near post shot from 10 yards. The home side managed to equalise against the run of play in the 23rd minute when a Dean Harris free kick gave Matt Drummond the chance to bundle the ball home. Things started to look up for Penryn when they took the lead in the 39th minute when a free kick from Harris found Rabone whose wild header was lashed into the net by Will Scoley.

The second half saw tempers flare on both sides with the visitors' challenges becoming more physical. However, it was the homse side who conceded a penalty leaving Steve Tapper to score. The fourth goal came for the visitors in the 73rd minute when Jack Bartlett tracked his way across the box and worked a pass with Steve Tapper to score with ease. Penryn pulled a goal back just efore time when Drummond shrugged off a tackle to nudge the ball past Glassup.
