PENRYN ATHLETIC 5 - BUDE TOWN 1

Penryn proved to be far too strong for their East Cornwall visitors, Bude Town and their superior skill and fitness levels meant that the North Cornwall side were well beaten.

The home side took the lead after seven minutes with a shot by Kirk Davies swiftly followed three minutes later by a goal from in-form striker, Kayne Trevaskis from a header. Goal number three was tapped home from close range by on-loan striker Rob Wearne with Joshn Sims concluding a fine team move by making it 4-0 after only twenty minutes.

The second half saw Penryn start to coast a little and Bude Town pulled a goal back with a ferocious drive from Steve Smeeth on sixth five minutes but this jolted Penryn awake and they simply went up a gear with Wearne crossing for Davies to head in his second goal of the game.
